Q: Who created these magnets?

A: Anna and Allissa, two students attending Sweet Briar College. Allissa was a newly licensed driver when they started working on the product. As an experienced driver, Anna would like to see more student drivers with our magnet so she can be more cautious around them and avoid an accident. She is glad to know that her fifteen-year-old sister will be using our magnet soon.

Q: Why did you choose to create a magnet and not a sticker?

A: We acknowledge that when learning to drive, teenagers often use their parents’ car. The magnet, being removable, is more convenient because parents can take them off when the student driver is no longer driving. If the student driver is learning in his/her own car, we assume that he/she will only want the magnet for as long as they need it and not many years later when they no longer need others to be more cautious around them. Lastly, the magnet does not leave any residue.

Q: How much do they cost?

A: The magnets are $7.99 each.

Q: Can I buy in bulk for my high school, driver’s education program, or fundraising projects?

A: Yes! We also offer our magnets at a wholesale price so your school or program can make a profit. If you would like to order 50 magnets click here. For larger orders please email info@sweetdrivers.net and we can discuss it in further detail.

Q: How should I place the magnet on my car?

A: If you buy one magnet, place it on the back of your car after you have properly cleaned the surface where you will be putting the magnet. Make sure there is no dirt on that surface. If you buy two or three magnets, consider placing the second and/or third magnet on the side doors of the car.
